New York Post - NYC’s Best Holiday Pop-up Bars, from Festive to Freaky

For a high-class highball, head to Ophelia’s rooftop lounge atop Midtown’s Beekman Tower. The newish bar, which features panoramic city views, has been transformed into an elegant winter wonderland with crystal streamers, fur-lined seats — and serious cocktails.

“Maybe it’s because of all my martinis that I feel shaken up [like a snow globe],” Ophelia patron Christine Slocum jokes.

Bring your parents or best-dressed pals for a nightcap and dainty desserts. Menu standouts include the West Side Crusta ($20), a cognac and citrus cocktail with a Moroccan-inspired spice rim and a delicate tuile-cookie garnish, and the deconstructed tiramisu ($15) with flourless chocolate cake and honey mascarpone. 3 Mitchell Pl., 26th Floor;
