Ophelia at The Beekman Tower. Talk about a holiday high. Following the success of last year’s pop-up, Ophelia, the rooftop lounge on the 26th floor of The Beekman Tower has been transformed to resemble a shimmering snow globe in the sky. Just expect to spend part of your time here looking up, if only for an Instagram shot of the thousands of crystals and sparkling snowflakes suspended from the 17-foot tall ceiling. Many chairs at the bar are also covered in white sheepskin throws.

And, there’s an assortment of golden candelabras and decadent cocktails like the Rising Star, with cognac, rum, cinnamon simple syrup, and lotus cookie infused cream, and The Fireside, with whiskey, kina lair d’or, lillet bloc, suze and orange bitters. You’ll also find light bites like chicken BLT sliders, truffle potato wedges and deviled eggs. Best of all you don’t have to rush through your holiday “to do’s” to get here. The decorations stay up until the end of February. Go: 3 Mitchell Pl., 26th floor, 212-980-4796, opheliany.com.
